I'm Rachael Baqué, a Graphic Designer and Web Producer based in the heart of Chicago.
I learned how to build websites back when you had to do everything by hand (which was very useful for learning Python years later) and have been trapped in the Adobe ecosystem since 2009.
My career began in the beauty industry, these days I'm mostly in the tech space. Even though an industry change, the core of what I do hasn't changed: creating content that connects.
I can always find the sweet spot between something looking great and preforming just as well. My goal every design is to build narratives that feel intuitive and accessible.
When I'm away from the keyboard, you'll probably find me working one of my non-digital creative pursuits. Current those look like working in my metal smithing studio in my basement, or knitting a sweater that will definitely be the right size this time around.
